I've recently decided that there are a lot of people just like me. It's not that they are one party or the other. They are a just too darn busy to do much outside their personal box. I'm talking about good people here. People that go to work everyday, raise their kids, pay their bills (when they can) and hope that tomorrow will be a lot better than today. There's really not a good outlet for people to get involved. I mean really, is the only way to get your message out is to go stand in a group with a bunch of other mad citizens. I'd rather blog until I can figure that one out.
I think of myself as a good communicator, but during the work day, I talk about work. There's no time to discuss our national economy, stimulus, TARP, federal spending or the future financial burden our government is laying at the feet of our kids. My employer would not want me focusing on those topics and I agree. So in my free time, I'll try to write....
